While working with a global creative agency, The Fintech client, Mercury Financial came to our team regularly for email marketing, social media design, and an array of digital marketing needs.
As part of the Mercury Team, I was tasked with creating custom illustrations, funnel-drive email marketing campaigns, and social media advertising. All pieces were subject to stakeholder approval and adherence to strict brand standards.
Projects and campaigns would begin with a calendar of concepts and delivery dates from the client. It would then be incumbent upon our team of creative directors, copywriters and myself to actualize those concepts into client approved creative. I’d work directly with the copywriters to concept ideas, incorporating their copy into my sketches before moving on to the digital design process.
Mercury was continuously pleased with the result as we designed content that regularly increased their engagement rate with both social media and email. Additionally, open rates and spend increased with their partnership program with Amazon. As a designer, I pushed the illustration forward without veering too far from what was expected in terms of brand standards, leading to public accolades from the client and more requests for design work.
